Step by Step is a free weekly drop in session offering advice on training, volunteering, and helping people into work.
It’s for anyone who:
- is worried about juggling a job and childcare
- wants to write a CV and practice doing interviews
- needs help to find a job when they feel ready
- wants to learn more about using computers and the internet
The session is run by friendly staff from Paddock Community Trust, a local charity. It’s relaxed and informal, and there is no pressure to commit to coming every week.
Anyone who wants help and advice on training, volunteering and jobs can come along. Whether you’re looking for work right now or in the future, Step by Step will work at your pace to help you reach your goals.
Please help us to spread the word about these new sessions. If anyone in your groups is interested, please encourage them to drop in for a cuppa and a chat.

We met at nosh cafe a few weeks ago, would you like to attend one of our coffee mornings? Please go to our website for details of times and venue etc
We have lots of unemployed mums etc and people who would love to perhaps learn how to use twitter so if itbuddies could come along too that would be great!

Hi I would love to pop in and have a chat as I’ve been job searching for a while now and I must be doing something wrong as I’m getting no-where. Do u have an age limit as I’m 28?? also I have no idea where nosh cafe is I’m from Netherton so I could walk down, I am familier to the church where the traffic lights are. If I can come will it be alright if I bring my toddler if I cant find a sitter? Thank You.

Step by Step is for people of any age, so they will be very pleased to see you. You’re also welcome to bring children along.
Newsome Nosh is on Church Lane, which is the street full of shops just near the church and the traffic lights.
